Position Details Position Information Position Title Assistant/Associate/Professor of Internal Med, DCOM Knox Department DCOM CLINICAL MEDICINE Position Category Faculty Job Description The Assistant/Associate/Professor of Internal Medicine will be directly responsible for teaching LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, clinical duties, and scholarly activity. They shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department. Required Qualifications D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine; and *able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first-year of hire date by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination/Tennessee Medical State Board; unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment Preferred Qualifications D.O. degree and able to be licensed in Tennessee by the Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination; *minimum of 3 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.
