This position offers the opportunity to lead and manage a retail pharmacy within a busy store setting. Located in Sunbury, PA, the pharmacy manager role involves overseeing all pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting profitable business growth. This is a direct hire position with a variable schedule that includes day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours bi-weekly. Typical shifts range from 10 to 12 hours, starting between 8am and 9am. Key Responsibilities: Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate strategic goals. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. Manage inventory, including ordering pharmaceutical stock and tracking weekly sales to meet customer demand and maximize profits. Align department performance objectives with measurable metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; provide training, coaching, and discipline as needed. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer complaints to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and support ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover. Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
