Job Description

Casual, approximately 48 hours/pay period2-3 nights per week from 5pm-8pm and every other weekend Saturday 8:30-5pm and Sunday 11:30-5pmThe DI Clinical Assistant works closely with the DI Patient Support Coordinators, Technologists, Sonographers, DI Managers, Director, and Radiologists to care for our patients, assisting with imaging workflows in order to provide quality patient care.Key Job Duties:Perform clerical tasks and assist with patient schedulingEducate patients on imaging procedures and necessary preps, addressing any questions to ensure patient understanding and comfortAssist technologists and sonographers with patient exam needsMaintain patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the exam areaCollaborate with team to develop, update, and implement imaging proceduresRequired:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years working as a Clinical Assistant, EMT, Nursing Assistant or in direct patient careClerical skills including ability to utilize office computers/programsAttention to detail, great team work skills, and excellent communication skills requiredMust possess valid driver's licensePreferred:Any college degreeGeneral knowledge of medical practiceDedication to patient satisfactionAbility to work effectively with all providers, staff and patients.BLS (CPR) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug screen, health assessment, and background check.Benefits & Compensation:Base Pay Range: $17.40-$24.20, initial pay based on relevant work experience.
