Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Location: Morristown, NJ Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension) Shift: 7am – 8pm. 3 days a week, with a flexed scheduled Mon-Fri Local Pay Range: $80.00/hr. on W2 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure to support complex diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role involves working closely with proceduralists in vascular and neuro-interventional cases, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Include: Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic, vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures, including scrubbing alongside specialists. Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems. Identify, retrieve, and circulate specialized equipment and products during procedures. Provide critical thinking support during complex and high-risk cases. Operate power injectors for iodinated contrast media during procedures. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols when preparing procedural trays. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons. Utilize closed-loop communication to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety. Perform post-procedure groin management. Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) and ensure proper image transfer to PACS (Sectra) systems. Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting. Required Certifications & License: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist. ARRT (R) Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). BLS (AHA).
