A retail pharmacy is seeking per diem staff pharmacists to join their team in various Northern California locations, including Citrus Heights. This urgent need arises as the busy season approaches, and they are looking to add 6-8 pharmacists to provide flexible coverage across multiple areas. Responsibilities: Manage daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures Oversee and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow Provide excellent patient care and medication counseling Utilize McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) software for prescriptions and record keeping Work as needed across multiple locations with the ability to commute within assigned areas Qualifications: At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience Experience with pharmacy operations including opening and closing shifts Ability to manage and coordinate pharmacy technicians Comfortable with flexible, per diem scheduling and travel within Northern California Familiarity with McKesson's Enterprise system preferred Location: Available positions in Citrus Heights, Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico) Willingness to commute locally; mileage reimbursement available for travel over 30 miles one way Schedule: Per diem; typically 1-2 shifts per week based on business need This opportunity suits pharmacists currently working part time who want to supplement their hours with additional shifts.
