Support physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment, focusing on adult and geriatric patient care. This travel opportunity is based in Elizabeth, NJ, offering a dynamic role with exposure to advanced cardiac interventional and peripheral procedures. Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including scrubbing in for cardiac and peripheral cases. Prepare adult and geriatric patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Function in multiple roles including case recorder, circulator, and scrub assistant throughout procedures. Monitor and report clinical changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff or physicians. Perform point of care testing following CLIA guidelines when necessary. Document procedures accurately by labeling studies, entering procedure details into medical records, and managing associated charges. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards consistently. Report equipment malfunctions and assist with cleaning, restocking supplies, and completing special assignments as directed. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or in a similar cardiovascular imaging role. Strong knowledge of cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Ability to perform multiple roles efficiently in a clinical setting. Familiarity with point of care testing and documentation standards. Commitment to maintaining sterile procedures and infection control. Excellent communication skills for reporting patient status and collaborating with medical teams.
