A full-time position for a School Psychologist is available in Providence, RI, offering a contract opportunity supporting elementary-level students. This role is centered around providing comprehensive psychological services during a maternity leave assignment, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The contract is scheduled to conclude on June 12, 2026. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students. Provide interventions and support plans based on assessment outcomes. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to enhance student learning and well-being. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications: Valid certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working with elementary school-aged children. Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.
