Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology Santa Cruz, CADescription: Summary: Dominican Hospital is looking for 1 full time and 1 part time Hematology/Oncology physician to start 3/1 working in their clinic. Premier Infusion Center: Conveniently co-located at the Hematology Care Center, our primary outpatient infusion center features 15 private bays arranged around a central nursing hub for optimal patient safety and comfort. Orientation ***-315 - half the hourly/callback rate*** kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour oforientation or training beyond 8 hours Hourly ***-*** - Per hour, not OT Holiday ***-945 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate*** Per holiday hour, no OT Schedule/Availability Requirements:Ideal start date pending credentialing: 3/1Shift time: 8a-5pShift frequency: Full time position- 5 days per week / Part time position 2-3 days per weekDetails:Duties: Clinical Excellence: Proved expert hematology and oncology care, utilizing the co-located Solari Infusion Center for modern treatment delivery. Partner with navigators and social workers to ensure seamless, supportive patient journey for diagnosis through survivorship.Setting: AmbulatoryFTE: 1.0Required Procedures/Job Duties: EMR: CernerSupport Staff: Multidisciplinary Team: Access support from nurse navigators, social workers, a pharmacyliaison for oral medications, research coordinators, genetic counselors, and 24/7 anesthesiacoverage. Dedicated RN staff.Clinical Infrastructure: 17-bed inpatient oncology unit with daily multidisciplinary rounds, weekly tumor boards, a rapid diagnosis clinic, and two radiation centers.
