Statement of Duties Physician-Neurology * Provide a broad range of Neurology services by diagnosing and managing both inpatient and outpatient Veterans. * Perform full neurological exams and supervise neurology residents/medical students as an inpatient consultant and in the neurology clinic. * Complete all administrative work and documentation (notes and encounter forms) in a timely fashion in accordance with facility policy and bylaws. * Deliver interventions throughout the full spectrum of neurology care (e.g. expected to maintain good diagnostic and therapeutic acumen). * Be able to get an academic appointment with our affiliate hospital, Augusta University Medical Center. * Completes tasks and duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or supervisory alignment. * Adheres to VHA and Medical Center policies and regulations as well as the Medical Staff bylaws. * Adheres to the Medicine Department's goals of productivity, bookability, and utilization. * Completes all mandatory training, credentialing procedures, and chart reviews, Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Downtown
