We are currently looking for a Full Time Early Childhood Development Therapist to join our Ardmore Clinical Services and RN Team team located at the Ardmore Health Clinic working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.Summary:Works to enhance the care of families with children from birth to 5 years by supporting health care professionals, parents and other caregivers to address the physical, emotional and intellectual development of young children following the HealthySteps promotion/prevention model for universal screening and tiered interventions to support child development and healthMust be a currently licensed or license-eligible therapist in Oklahoma (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LBP, or Psychologist). For license eligible, must be able to achieve licensure within two years of hire.Responsibilities:* Administers, scores, reports and responds to developmental screeners for infants and young children from birth to 5 years* Provides consultations with families of infants and young children regarding developmental and behavioral concerns* Conducts team-based well-child visits with parents and their infants and young children along with the physician or other pediatric medical provider in order to support parents in providing safe, stable and nurturing relationships* Facilitates assignment to tiered services to ensure that families receive a level of care matched to need as determined by screening and clinical judgment* Collaborates with other professionals to ensure for appropriate care of clients* Documents all patient activity and care coordination in the patient record* Provides recommendations/referrals according to clients need assessment for internal and external services* Serves as a resource to other medical professionals in the Chickasaw Nation regarding mental health topics* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Performs all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Must be self-motivated* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines* Organizational and time-management* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management* Maintains clear and complete employee health recordsSkills:Nonessential:* Intermediate computer skillsExperience:Nonessential:* 2 years directly related experienceEducation:Essential:* Masters Degree in directly related fieldNonessential:* Doctorate Degree in directly related fieldCredentials:Essential:* Standard Driver's License* Please see the below commentsNonessential:* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist* Licensed Clinical Social Worker* Licensed Professional Counselor* Licensed Psychologist* Licensed Behavioral PractitionerEssential:* Must be a currently licensed or license-eligible therapist in Oklahoma (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC-MH, LBP, or Psychologist).
