The Kenyon College Chemistry Department is hiring for a full-time position in the laboratory of Prof. Getzler, funded through a grant from the NSF, to study controlled polymer degradation. This position designed for those intending to pursue graduate studies in synthetic chemistry. The Fellow will contribute to all research stages - including laboratory management, research design, literature searches, conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and writing reports and papers. Through this involvement, the Fellow will develop the skills necessary to succeed in a PhD program in chemistry. Competitive candidates will hold Bachelor's in Chemistry by the start of the appointment, have synthetic chemistry experience, and intend to pursue graduate studies in chemistry or work in chemistry.
