Job DescriptionNonprofit health system in Northeast Michigan is seeking a BE/BC General Radiologist with interest in breast imaging to join a growing, collaborative practice.Position Details:Full-time, employed position135+ bed medical center providing Level III trauma care100% physician owned and managed practicePosition may include occasional travel to other sites of operationTwo employment models available:Standard track: 13 weeks of vacation annuallyWeekday daytime track: 8 weeks of vacation; schedule limited to weekday daytime hours (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)Fellowship training preferred but will consider significant practice experienceMust be comfortable working autonomously in more rural sites Responsibilities:Interpret studies from all modalities, including mammographyPerform minor percutaneous interventions such as drainages and biopsies Perform image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies and localizationsBreast diagnostic interpretation a plus but not requiredCompensation/Benefits include:$100k sign-on bonusCompetitive compensation planStipends for on-site shiftsOpportunities for additional shifts on a month-to-month basisPhysicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18k medical reimbursement account annually401(k) plan with employer contributions up to the annual IRS limit13 weeks of vacation for standard track roles6 weeks of paid parental leave (new benefit)Community:This scenic Northeast Michigan community offers a unique blend of small-town charm and stunning natural beauty along the Lake Huron shoreline.
