Job Description: Greenwich Public Schools seeks a full-time long-term substitute school psychologist or school social worker from approximately April 13, 2026, through approximately June 30, 2026; the position carries full salary and benefits for the duration of the assignment. Position Summary School psychologists support the social, emotional and academic learning goals of all students, and provide services to students with disabilities as described in their IEPs and Section 504 plans. They collaborate with teachers, administrators, other school specialists, and other health professionals to ensure that every child learns in a safe, healthy and supportive environment. Social workers perform specialized social work in an educational setting to enable students to achieve optimal learning. They collect, interpret, and synthesize information about a student's social history, community environment, family dynamics, economic differences, and significant crises that influence academic and behavioral functioning, working cooperatively as an interdisciplinary team member to provide services and to devise an appropriate service plan for referred students and their families.
