Ade Medical Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medication Refill & Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring timely medication access for our patients by managing refill requests and coordinating insurance prior authorizations using eClinicalWorks (eCW).Key Responsibilities Manage and process all medication refill requests through eClinicalWorks (eCW) Review patient charts for accuracy, including medication history and provider instructions Submit, track, and follow up on prior authorizations with insurance companies Communicate effectively with providers, pharmacies, and patients regarding medication status Monitor pending authorizations and ensure timely completion Document all actions accurately in eClinicalWorks (eCW) Address insurance denials and assist with appeals when necessary Support providers with medication-related administrative tasksQualifications Previous experience in a medical office, pharmacy, or healthcare setting required Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred Knowledge of medication refill workflows and prior authorization processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Ability to manage high-volume tasks efficientlyPreferred Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or similar credential Experience working with insurance formularies and medication coverage Ability to work independently and as part of a team
