We've set out to drastically improve clinical decision-making while meaningfully improving patient lives through better diagnosis, disease management, and treatment, leading to better health outcomes.The Clinical Data Specialist is responsible for supporting our clinical trial service operations through performing EHR chart review to identify patients who are candidates for clinical trials. What you'll be doing:Support research sites within the Iterative Health network by reviewing the electronic health records Support research sites within the Iterative Health network by scheduling patient visits for clinical research coordinatorsCompleting data entry into research databasesBuilding a database of potential study candidatesRead and understand each assigned protocol to understand the applicable protocols and criteria of studies to determine specific patient population needsMaintain documentation to track findings from Patient Pre-ScreeningAttend project meetings as neededPerform administrative duties in conformity with company policies and proceduresRequired Skills:Experience and competency in common office tools such as internet browsers, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Email, Drive, Sheets, Docs) and messaging platforms (Slack)Ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms such as Electronic Health Record systems, Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce) and clinical trial management systems (ie CTMS)Thrives when working within a high-paced, fluid environmentExcellent time management, planning, and organizational skills are requiredAttention to detail and thorough follow-up skillsCapable of handling and interacting with data in a confidential and compliant mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of tact, integrity, and professionalismPreferred Qualifications:Clinical Research sector experience preferredFamiliarity with reading and understanding clinical research manuscripts and protocolsFamiliarity with reviewing electronic health record dataFamiliarity with GCP guidelinesExperience within a healthcare start-up preferredNew York pay range$60,000-$70,000 USDAt Iterative Health, we're actively working towards creating an environment that is representative of the diversity of patients our technology serves.
