Responsibilities * Under the direction of Clinical Supervisors, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Lab Coordinators performs receptionist, processor, and phlebotomist duties to serve patients with compassion and empathy. * Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages * Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory to ensure integrity and accuracy * Communicate professionally with nursing staff, physicians, and lab personnel regarding specimen needs or issues * Register patients accurately by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and billing information * Communicate effectively with clinical departments to resolve registration or order issues * Accurately enter and verify patient and specimen data * Provide courteous, professional service to the patients and families * Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital safety regulations at all times Experience * 1-2 years phlebotomy experience in a Clinic setting -PREFERRED License/Certification/Education * High school Diploma or Equivalent-REQUIRED BENEFITS Happen Here!
