West Virginia Junior College is seeking an experienced and motivated Sonography Program Director to lead the development and launch of a new Sonography/Ultrasound Program. This model offers students meaningful, real-world experience while supporting today's working learners and meeting the needs of the healthcare community.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Sonography Program Director will be responsible for:Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the Sonography programEnsuring compliance with accreditation standards and industry best practicesOverseeing curriculum development, faculty, and clinical partnershipsSupporting student success through academic and clinical excellenceCollaborating with internal teams and external healthcare partnersRequired QualificationsBaccalaureate degree or higherAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, with appropriate credential(s) in one or more of the following concentrations: Abdominal, OB/GYNThree (3) years of clinical experience as a registered sonographerTeaching experience in an accredited sonography program, either as an appointed faculty member or a clinical preceptorFull-time position, core hours 8am-4pm.
