The position covers a day-shift schedule with Q3 call coverage. The site is open to providers who can cover 3 or more weeks a month. Call schedule consists of Q3 call every third weekday and every third weekend. The average number of cases per day is approximately 8. Support staff includes a manager and two advanced practice providers (APPs) assisting three Interventional Radiologists. The patient demographic is primarily adult, with a frequent geriatric population. Procedures required include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization). Additional procedures preferred may include orthopedic, gynecological, and urological cases. Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days, with the possibility of an expedited process. The facility will reimburse mileage billed at the IRS standard rate, and lodging is provided on campus if needed. This is a locum placement with compensation structured accordingly.
