The Qsight team is passionate about creating market intelligence products through rigorous analysis of alternative data to deliver highly relevant, accurate insights to a global client base.The Healthcare Data Analyst is a key role on the Qsight team and will help with the production and development of Guidepoint's Qsight offerings. This role is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience working with alternative data. A strong candidate will both produce market intelligence and help improve our data processes, quantitative forecasting, and tooling.The preferred hiring location for this position is based in New York, New York. Ideal candidates MUST be comfortable working EST hours.What You'll Do:Support the development and production of Alpha's Med Device analytics and data products by working with diverse healthcare and purchasing datasetsAnalyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate differentiated market insights and inform product improvementsPerform data preparation, transformation, and validation to create repeatable, high-quality analytic inputsDevelop and execute quantitative analyses and models (time-series, regression, classification, or similar) to answer product and client questionsAutomate routine data tasks and contribute to improvements in analytic processes and toolingStay current on market and company information (news, filings, public data) to support analysis and interpretationCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWhat You Have:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a preference for majors in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or related field1-3 years of experience working with large panel/panel-style datasets; finance, healthcare, or MedTech experience is a plusStrong technical skills (SQL/Snowflake, Excel, Python/Pandas) or equivalent analytic toolingMust have a passion for solving complex big data problems and a willingness to learn new technologies and toolsExperience with data preparation and validation, and a demonstrated interest in automating and improving data processesFamiliarity or strong interest in the healthcare sectorAbility to work efficiently with team members to assess needs, provide support, and think criticallyStrong verbal/written communication skills to non-technical audiencesStrong focus on quality and on addressing client needsWhat We Offer: The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000.
