Job Opportunity - General Surgeon - VermontStart Date: Not specified (credentialing 60-120 days)Location: Southeastern VermontCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsHousing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicantsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; 1:4 call rotationHighlights: Join a collaborative surgical team at a Level 3 trauma community hospital 1-3 surgical cases per day with variety including general, laparoscopic, vascular, and GI endoscopy procedures 3 operating rooms plus procedure room; full support staff including CRNAs, scrub techs, and circulating nurses Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric demographics Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation Comprehensive surgical practice including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and wound care servicesRequirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery Completion of General Surgery Residency Program required Active Vermont medical license required (IMLC eligible candidates accepted) DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers Clean malpractice history Full-time availability requiredWhy It's a Fit:This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive surgical team in a community hospital setting where you can make a meaningful impact across a diverse patient population.
