Overview:Assisting our Full-Time Carperter Team as they work on building, repairing, and maintain coasters, buildings, and fixtures throughout the park.Must be 18 years or older. This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits and Paid Time Off.Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Inspect wooden coastersRemodel restaurants and retail shopsBuild dock boxesRepair queue rails and other fencesAbility to work with tile, ceiling, wall, floor.Replace broken windows.Repair or replace hardwareHave knowledge of shop tools, build cabinetsSigns, build and hang them in many different situationsBe able to drive a series of different park vehiclesInstall signs and bannersRepair outside furnitureHelp with Snow RemovalComply with all Six Flags safety and fire responsibilities, policies, and proceduresAdhere to park attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags handbookFollow and complete all delegated tasks deemed by managementAdhere to Six Flags standards of appearanceQualifications:Skills and Qualifications:Minimum Age: 18Must have a valid driver's licenseHave knowledge of basic carpentry skillsNot afraid of heights, use hi-lifts and laddersAvailability: Day shift (7AM-3PM) including weekends. Summer schedule 6AM to 2:30PM. And EveningsAble to work holidaysMust be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditionsMust be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitudeMust have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
