Job Title: Sleep Technician / Polysomnographer Location: Gunnison, CO Department: Sleep Lab Duration: 13 WeeksCompensation:Travel: Upto $60/hr (including stipend)Local: Upto $52/hrShift DetailsSchedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per weekShift: Night ShiftHours: 36 hours/weekHoliday Coverage: RequiredPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sleep Technician / Polysomnographer to support a Sleep Lab team in a clinical setting. This role involves conducting comprehensive sleep studies, analyzing data, and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders under physician supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform overnight polysomnography (sleep studies), including patient setup, monitoring, and data collectionEducate patients on procedures and apply monitoring equipment accuratelyContinuously monitor patients during studies and respond to any clinical or technical issuesScore and document sleep data, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and cardiac rhythmsAssist with CPAP/BiPAP titration studies as neededEnsure accurate and timely documentation in EMR systemsMaintain and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment; ensure proper calibrationAdhere to safety, infection control, and facility protocolsCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and diagnosisProvide patient education regarding sleep disorders and therapeutic equipmentQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience as a Sleep Technician or Polysomnographer (Required)Active state license/credential (if applicable)BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Required)Experience with sleep study equipment and monitoring systemsFamiliarity with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)Strong understanding of sleep disorders and treatment modalitiesExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently during overnight shiftsFor more details contact at hdavda@ or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
