Dietary Services ManagerType: Full-TimeShift: Day shiftWage: $65,000-$70,000/yr DOELocation: Avamere at Rio Rancho - 1000 Riverview Drive SE, Rio Rancho, NM 8712 Responsibilities:Serve meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance and in accordance with established portion control procedures on a timely basisInspect diet trays; work with the facility dietician and process diet change received from Nursing ServicesCoordinate food service with other departmentsEnsure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily availableEnsure that menus are maintained and reviewed prior to preparation of foodAssist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basisQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderHigh-School diploma or equivalentExperience in Assisted Living or other related Health Care CommunityMust have a food handlers' cardMust be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantitiesMust be knowledgeable of food preparation proceduresMust have knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures and rulesBenefits:We believe caring for others starts with caring for our own teams.
