Part-time Job Announcement Position: Part-time Professional Lab Assistant for Dental Assisting Location: Athens Campus Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety Reports to: Program Chair for Dental Programs & Divisional Academic Dean Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits. Deadline to Apply: April 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities: * Maintain familiarity with college goals, mission, and long-term plans. * Contribute to planning and development processes. * Participate in recruitment and retention of students in both programs. * Attend required staff meetings and serve on staff committees. * Evaluate dental assisting curriculum and educational activities. * Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media. * Regularly evaluate student achievement and provide student feedback. * Assist clinical coordinator with clinic supply; tracking and stocking. * Supervise and instruct dental assisting students during clinic. * Has full and complete access to patient medical/dental records where HIPAA policy and procedures are required to safeguard the patient, facility, and/or employee. * Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in communication with students, administrators, faculty & staff.
