Position: Board Certified Optometrist Locations: Crownpoint, Shiprock (NM): Kayenta, Chinle (AZ) Description of Duties: Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations using specialized instruments and techniques. Evaluate patients' vision acuity, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision. Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia. Identify and manage eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Prescribe corrective lenses, including glasses and contact lenses, and provide fitting and follow-up care. Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and preventive measures. Advise patients on the use of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. Education and Licenses: Must be a US Citizen. Should have a valid state license of any state.
