Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Vaccination Crew team member in Oakwood. SHIFT HOURS: Monday approximately 5:00am-3:00pm and Tuesday through Friday approximately 6:30am-3:00pm.STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.85 with the potential of increasing to $20.80 after 90 daysADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company approval)All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:Setting up and tearing down of vaccinating equipmentCatching birdsUsing proper shooting techniques for subcutaneous, tail and wing shots. Caring for ill birds per veterinary and manager guidance while maintaining proper recordsRequirementsMust be 18 years of ageAbility to lift up to 70 poundsAbility to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
