The therapist will work primarily with stroke patients. The patient ratio is a maximum of 5 patients per day. Typically, the therapist will handle 3-4 patients each day for 90 minutes each. There are no weekend requirements for this role. The position does not require on-call duty or floating to other units. Scrubs can be any color except blue, forest green, or maroon. This role involves charting using a specified electronic health record system. Candidates can be first-timers in the acute care setting. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but a flu vaccine is mandatory unless there is documented medical proof for exemption. All candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility. Previous employment as a permanent employee at this facility requires a two-year waiting period before applying for a traveler position. Full documentation must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment. Insufficient documentation will result in a delay in the start date.
