We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Galax, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for Virginia.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred; candidates with relevant experience in emergency services, surgery, or critical care are preferred.BLS certification required.All required certifications and credentials must be current prior to start.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Nights.Shift hours: 1900-0700.Shift type: Overnight.Location HighlightsGalax offers a mix of small-town charm and outdoor access within southwestern Virginia.
