Part time 24 hours , 1st shift Performs a variety of routine and specialized histological tests for pathological interpretation. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: * Minimum of 1-3 years' experience as a histotechnician or histotechnologist in a hospital laboratory setting. * Successful completion of histology technician / technologist training program Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: * Excellent command of oral and written English; operation of equipment; positive interpersonal and communication skills. Educational Requirements: * AS and three years of histology experience, or BA and one year of histology experience, or meet the qualification as outlined in 42 CFR 493.1449. * Meet the qualifications for moderate complex testing as outlined in 42 CFR 493.1449 of the Federal Register. License/Certification: * HT or HTL (ASCP); MT or MLT (ASCP); MT (HHS).
