MOR doctors are the official team physicians for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Fire Soccer Club and DePaul University Athletics. We are looking for an Office Coordinator who will float to multiple outpatient rehabilitation clinics that will be based out of Munster, IN. This role will travel frequently to clinics in Centennial Village, IN; Orland Park, IL; Lockport, IL; Chicago, IL; South Loop, IL; and Lincoln Park, IL. The candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks at the office, including professional customer service to all patients. Reliable transportation is required. Responsibilities Professionally greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, complete administrative processing (authorizations and verifications) and reports and record"‘keeping. Maintain an appropriate inventory level of supplies to efficiently aid in the treatment of patients and maintain efficient office duties. Maintain patient confidentiality with regard to medical records per company policies and procedures and assure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines. Assure cleanliness and safety of the clinic. Process, distribute, and track all documentation to physicians for signature in a timely manner. Attend to all incoming calls in a helpful manner. Respond to client inquiries and needs promptly and politely. Process patient payments. Handle cancellations and assist with rescheduling appointments. Effectively use and maintain office equipment. Communicate patient progress to physicians, nurse case managers, adjusters, and attorneys via fax, email, or phone. Support the Facility Manager with daily operations of the clinic. Other responsibilities as assigned. Education and/or Experience Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Front"‘desk knowledge and experience required, preferably in a PT clinic. Strong background in providing excellent customer service. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
