OverviewProperty Services Auditor. Location flexible: UK, Eastern Europe OR North Africa.Job PurposeWe are looking for a full-time auditor to help us with auditing and seeking refunds from Landlords for IWG across the Europe. You will encounter a high degree of flexibility on structuring your work life. You will follow established departmental procedures, recommending improvements or enhancements to further increase savings. You will work with Real Estate teams, Accounts Payable teams and Centre personnel to obtain necessary lease/building specific information to complete audit. You will interact directly with landlords and their agents requesting documentation and assertively seeking refunds for overcharges while maintaining a positive relationship with them.Principal ResponsibilitiesPerforms property service charge invoice reviews and audits (also known as Lease Audits, CAM Audits, Real Estate Taxes and Operating Expense Audits) in various countries around the worldReceives landlords' Property Service invoices, compares against lease documents, accounting reports and local centre-provided information.Documents errors and works to resolve directly with Landlord's municates regularly with landlords and their agents including phone calls, e-mails and written correspondence.Uses internal accounting systems and lease database to retrieve necessary documentation for audit.Works closely with IWG Asset and Country Managers for solving particularly delicate disputes.Assists with the implementation and development of audit tools and procedures.Uses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on persuasiveness and negotiations to collect data/claims.Works on multiple audit claims simultaneously, prioritises, follow-ups, reports and brings projects to conclusion.Minimum QualificationsFull Professional Proficiency in English + French would be a big advantageBachelor's degreeWork experience in Lease Administration, Property Management, Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, Property Accounting, Law, or other relevant experience working with real estate leases with the ability to interpret lease languageStrong organisational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical skillsThorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially ExcelProactive and passionate about quality, honesty, and work with a determination to succeedAdditional PreferencesProficiency in additional language will be considered beneficialExperience in auditing property service charge/operating expense reconciliationsCommercial Property/lease/auditing experienceAbout the companyIWG has been at the forefront of flexible working for over 35 years.
