Job Description

Full-Time Some Travel Required Position Overview The Fixture & Store Setup Technician supports store build-outs, remodels, and operational projects across our retail locations. This role assembles and installs fixtures, performs light carpentry or maintenance tasks, transports materials, and partners with Construction and Store Operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires regular travel and hands"‘on work in stores, stockrooms, and warehouse environments. Essential Functions Assemble, install, and set sales-floor and stockroom fixtures during new store openings, remodels, and special projects Perform minor carpentry repairs and light maintenance tasks based on skill set Load, unload, and transport fixtures, materials, and equipment between the corporate warehouse and store locations Operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly, and other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed) Drive a 28' box truck to deliver and retrieve store fixtures and project materials Maintain accurate inventory of fixtures and construction-related items stored at the corporate warehouse Coordinate with the Construction team to ensure materials are prepared, available, and delivered for scheduled projects Collaborate with store teams and other departments to complete project tasks efficiently Lead or support temporary labor teams during larger projects (preferred but not required) Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands Lift, carry, push, and pull items typically 25-50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs Stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and move throughout sales floors, stockrooms, and warehouse environments Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for fixture assembly and minor carpentry Perform repetitive motions such as lifting, tightening, assembling, or positioning fixtures Work at varying heights using ladders or step stools Operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly, or similar equipment (training provided) Drive long distances and operate a 28' box truck Work Environment & Travel Frequent travel to store locations across multiple states Overnight stays ranging from 1-5 nights depending on project scope Work may occur in warehouse, retail, and backroom environments with varying temperatures Occasional early mornings, evenings, or extended hours based on project timelines Tools & Equipment Used Hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, drills) Power tools (impact drivers, saws, fastening tools) Material-handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly) 28' box truck Ladders and step stools Warehouse inventory systems or tracking tools Qualifications Experience with fixture installation, warehouse operations, or basic carpentry preferred Valid driver's license; ability to operate larger vehicles or willingness to learn Forklift certification a plus (or ability to obtain) Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and manage time while traveling Ability to lead or support temporary labor teams (preferred) Compensation Full time Hourly position Eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision Life Insurance 401k with company match Vacation/PTO Employee Discount in Store #J-18808-Ljbffr
