When offsite, the Field Service Engineer provides remote support to clients, assists with in-house testing as needed, and prepares proposals for spare parts and field upgrades.We are looking for a skilled individual that is excited to be a part of changing how the world views our most critical resource - Water.What You Will DoTravel to customer site to perform equipment commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), on-site preventative maintenance, on-site equipment troubleshooting and repair, and training for domestic and international customers.Provide feedback to engineering, project management, and manufacturing on lessons learned.Maintain detailed field service trip reports.Work with engineering for drawing and software updates based on field service work performed or future trips.Coordinate with customers on the procurement of spare parts and field upgradesProvide after-market technical and sales supportPosition DetailsThis is a remote position requiring the successful candidate to reside within one hour of a major airport.The primary territory covers the entire United States, with a particular emphasis on the Eastern regionThis role involves extensive weekday travel, with up to 75% of your time spent on overnight trips.Rare but occasional international travel may be necessaryDuring your training program, you will be required to travel to Wastech Offices in Chatsworth, CA for ~8 weeks. The remaining weeks will be in-field training. Ecolab will arrange and pay for your travel and certain travel-related expenses.
