You'll be responsible for completing 4 estimates daily throughout the greater Chicago area, drafting proposals the same day, and occasionally covering the office or attending monthly team meetings.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct 4 on-site estimates per day within 100 miles of Chicago.Write and send proposals in Microsoft Word (PDF format) same-day.Develop relationships and generate leads by visiting local referral partners (e.g., flooring companies, HVAC contractors).Interpret building systems and assess labor, materials, permits, and scope of abatement work.Stay informed on local, state, and federal environmental regulations.Attend monthly in-office meetings and provide occasional office coverage.Qualifications2+ years of sales experience required.Understanding of residential construction, building systems, or environmental services preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated, organized, and dependable with a strong work ethic.Reliable personal vehicle and valid Illinois driver's license.Two years of college required; construction management or architecture education is a plus.What We're Looking ForWe want someone who enjoys meeting people, has sales drive, and can be trained in estimating if needed.
