About the Role We're hiring a hybrid team member to serve in a dual role as both Lead Instructor (Code Sensei) for our Junior Program (ages 5-8) and Front Desk/Admin Assistant. Responsibilities Lead weekly classes for 5-8"‘year"‘olds (Wednesday from 5:30"¯pm"‘6:15"¯pm, Friday from 5:45"¯pm"‘6:30"¯pm, Saturday from 9:00"¯am"‘9:45"¯am, Saturday from 1:00"¯pm"‘1:45"¯pm) Teach foundational coding concepts using on"‘screen and off"‘screen activities Keep young learners engaged, energized, and progressing in a structured curriculum Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress Adapt and personalize curriculum to meet kids' needs and interests Collaborate with the team to support other instructors and future program growth Front Desk / Admin Assistant Greet and check in students and families Answer and manage phone calls and email inquiries Coordinate class schedules, appointments, and calendars Assist with spreadsheets, presentations, and marketing materials Maintain organized records and filing systems Conduct basic internet research and place orders for supplies Enter data and support email/postal mail campaigns Keep the center tidy, professional, and parent"‘friendly Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly, upbeat, and professional communication style Passionate about working with children and families Some experience with or interest in coding and STEM (training provided) Comfortable with technology and basic troubleshooting (e.g., Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint) Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about creating a positive environment Willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of responsibilities Must pass a background check Why Join Us?
