About This Role Compass Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. Your work keeps our financial operations running smoothly, managing invoices, maintaining vendor and client relationships, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring accuracy across all AP/AR activities. This is a work-from-home position; employment is limited to individuals residing in Illinois or Wisconsin. What You'll Do: Manage accounts payable using Bill and Microsoft Dynamics365 Process due invoices for payments, verify invoices, and perform account reconciliations in a timely manner Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors Set up, verify vendor accounts, obtain W-9s, and maintain vendor files Maintain Accounts Payable files Support month-end processing and queries of all AP Assist with annual 1099 preparation Monitor accounts and incoming payments Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts receivable data Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing school clients Respond to and resolve clients' billing issues and questions Perform special projects as needed Who You Are: Associate's degree in accounting or finance (required) 2 years' experience in accounts payable role, accounting, or similar Knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations Detail-oriented and able to multi-task Great time management and strong organizational skills Excellent collaboration and communication abilities Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) Benefits: We offer comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, a 401(k) program with company matching, generous PTO including competitive parental leave after 1 year of employment, and continuous training through CEU seminars and volunteering opportunities.
