Labcorp Float Phlebotomist Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Bloomington and Peoria, IL. Coverage may also be required in Terre Haute, IN. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM and one weekend every 6 weeks. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or at least 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist. At least 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist with pediatric experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. At least 21 years old. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Float Incentive Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
