Location: Mission Viejo, CA (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite) Senior External Reporting Accountant This is a high-impact, highly visible role supporting consolidated financial reporting and SEC filings within a complex, multinational environment. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 15% annual bonus potential Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision 401(k) with company participation Generous PTO and paid holidays Hybrid work model (3 days onsite in Mission Viejo) Key Responsibilities Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Support SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases, and related disclosures Own components of the global consolidation process, including preparation and posting of consolidating journal entries Review and eliminate intercompany balances and transactions Perform technical accounting research and prepare supporting documentation Support SOX compliance and disclosure controls Partner closely with FP&A, operational finance, and international teams Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits Identify and drive process improvements across reporting cycles What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) CPA strongly preferred 3+ years of public accounting, technical accounting, or SEC reporting experience Big 4 or national public accounting experience highly preferred Experience in a publicly traded or multinational environment Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment Ideal for a Senior Associate ready to transition from public accounting, or a corporate reporting professional looking for broader exposure and long-term growth within a respected global organization.
