Phlebotomist II Float - Foothill Ranch, CA Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends. This float role offers variety in work: shifting frequently to new patient centers and meeting new people every day. You will deliver high"‘quality phlebotomy services across multiple sites. Responsibilities Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor's office, or other locations as needed Draw and prepare quality blood samples for lab testing Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.) Enter billing information and collect payment when required Coach, mentor, and advise new employees; serve as point of contact for on"‘site staff and provide input to the group lead or supervisor Travel to additional doctor's office or Patient Service Center sites when needed Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic) Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington Work Experience Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience The position requires effective communication in English.
