Our client, a global investment bank specializing in financial advisory services, is renowned for its deep expertise and independent advice across three core areas: Corporate Finance, Financial Restructuring, and Financial/Valuation Advisory. The team is seeking a Payroll Operations Specialist with strong communication skills to join their dynamic finance department. This hybrid role offers a flexible schedule with three days on-site and two days remote each week. Job Function Oversee the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle, including invoice receipt, coding, approvals, payments, and vendor reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, expense reports, and disbursements. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (Procurement, Legal, Operations, Treasury) and external vendors. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. Monitor and report AP metrics such as aged payables, vendor terms, and cash"‘flow impacts. Lead, train, and develop the AP team; set performance goals and promote a high"‘performance culture. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to optimize AP workflows and leverage ERP systems. Partner with Treasury, Tax, and Procurement on payments, tax implications, and vendor contracts. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 3-5 years of payroll processing/operations experience preferably coming from FS. ERP System proficiency required. Proficient knowledge in GAAP, SOX, and financial regulations.
