This is a hands"‘on, high"‘impact role where your expertise keeps operations running safely and efficiently. Other duties include: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on drill rigs and heavy equipment, including Furukawa Rock Drills (FRD) equipment and similar drill platforms Maintain and service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and track frames Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment uptime Accurately document work orders using maintenance software (Manager Plus or similar CMMS systems) Manage parts inventory, ordering, and cost control Maintain and operate a company service truck in compliance with DOT and safety standards Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and ATF regulations Communicate effectively with operations teams, drill operators, and leadership regarding equipment status Promote a strong safety culture, maintaining safe work conditions at all times What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment, drilling, or diesel mechanics Strong knowledge of Diesel and gasoline engines, Hydraulic and electrical systems, and heavy equipment diagnostics and repair Experience with drill rigs, mining equipment, or construction equipment preferred Familiarity with CMMS / maintenance tracking systems (Manager Plus or similar) Must have own tools Ability to work in remote field environments and variable conditions Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
