Kern Community College District Salary: $67.00 Hourly Job Type: Temporary - Adjuncts Job Number: FY21-22-00590 Location: CC - Online, CA Department: Business & Paralegal Studies The position is for a Digital Media Arts instructor (part"‘time, hourly adjunct). The start salary is $67.00 per hour (may vary by assignment and lecture hour equivalent). This role will provide instruction across the full range of digital media arts courses, including campus, day, evening, weekend, large"‘class, and distance"‘learning settings. Responsibilities Teach a full range of digital media arts courses using multiple teaching methodologies. Teach at various campus sites, including day, evening, weekend, large"‘class, and distance"‘learning courses. Participate in student recruitment, articulation of transfer programs for the Digital Media Arts department. Maintain subject matter currency; develop and revise curriculum. Use computer and multimedia technology effectively. Participate collegially in departmental, college and discipline"‘specific professional activities. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and two years experience. Or Associate's degree and six years experience. Or possession of a valid credential authorizing full"‘time teaching of Computer Information Systems, Graphic Arts, or Multimedia at the California Community College level. Or equivalent.
