Title: Accounting Manager Job Type: Contract Contract Length: 6 months Pay Range: $65-$70/hr Start Date: ASAP Location: Hybrid - Draper, UT About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in FinTech, is looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team for a 6"‘month engagement. This project involves supporting organizational growth by taking ownership of the accounting close process and driving continuous improvements and automation. This is a high-impact role that requires a self"‘motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Managing, coordinating, and leading a team in all monthly, quarterly, and year"‘end accounting close activities. Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with US GAAP and global accounting policies. Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation to reduce close time while maintaining accounting integrity and accuracy. Overseeing key accounting areas, reviewing critical reconciliations and roll forwards, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Assisting with all quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests and serving as a key liaison with external auditors. Partnering with cross"‘functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of accounting experience at Big 4 accounting firms and/or public companies (Tech industry preferred). Deep expertise in managing the close process, US GAAP reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. This isn't a learning role"”you need to be a subject"‘matter expert. CPA is required. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast"‘paced and dynamic environment with the desire for continuous improvement. Strong problem"‘solving, interpersonal communication skills, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred; experience with Blackline is a plus.
