Partner with the best As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, you will provide services that will range in scope from performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment: Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X"‘ray testing machine hardware and software products at Waygate and customer locations. Travel expected in excess of 70%. Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and install industrial x"‘ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as X"‘ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high"‘voltage control circuits, motion control, and high"‘end PCs. Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service. Provide timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements. Be responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards. Monitor site safety during work scope execution. Qualifications Possess a four"‘year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background. Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work. Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or be able to obtain a passport). Must currently hold valid US citizenship status. Work in a way that works for you 70% or more travel. You will be paid for travel time and overtime if more than 8 hours are worked a day. Travel costs will also be paid. The annual pay scale for this position is between $57,100.00 - $136,800.00. Candidates for this role (office"‘based / hybrid / remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range shown is Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. The salary range reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full"‘time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant ultimately falls within the pay range depends on factors such as geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and performance.
