This is your opportunity to build it with us.The Opportunity: Engineer the Flow of a Live Cultural Institution.DATALAND operates as a large-scale, ticketed immersive destination built on a timed-entry model with strict capacity controls and real-time guest flow management. Ticketing is not transactional "” it is mission-critical infrastructure that directly impacts safety, guest experience, staffing, and revenue integrity.As Ticketing Operations and Box Office Manager, you will architect and oversee all admissions systems and policies. You will exercise independent judgment in managing ticketing platforms, inventory controls, capacity pacing, exception handling, and operational strategy within a live public environment.This position is classified as exempt under applicable California wage and hour laws.What You Will Achieve Architect: Own and manage all ticketing platforms, including timed-entry schedules, pricing tiers, inventory controls, access rules, and complimentary admissions. Control: Set and manage daily and long-term ticket availability aligned with operational capacity, safety thresholds, and guest flow strategy. Develop, document, and enforce admissions policies including refunds, exchanges, late arrivals, accessibility accommodations, and guest exceptions. Monitor: Oversee real-time ticket scans, attendance pacing, and capacity thresholds; make live operational adjustments to protect safety and experience standards. Lead: Serve as the escalation authority for complex ticketing issues, system failures, policy exceptions, and operational disruptions. Coordinate: Partner closely with Operations, Guest Experience, Security, Facilities, and Finance to align admissions pacing with on-site conditions and institutional objectives. Forecast: Provide attendance projections and ticketing insights to inform staffing models and peak-day planning. Safeguard: Ensure revenue integrity, internal controls, and compliance with California consumer protection regulations. Analyze: Track and report key ticketing performance indicators including sell-through rates, no-show trends, time-slot utilization, and attendance flow efficiency.This role does not include commission-based compensation or incentive pay tied to ticket sales volume.The Ideal Candidate ProfileYou are an operational strategist with the discipline of a systems thinker. You bring clarity and accountability to complex systems.Core QualificationsRequired3-5+ years of experience in ticketing operations, admissions management, or venue operations within entertainment, attractions, museums, or live eventsDemonstrated experience managing timed-entry or capacity-controlled admissions systemsStrong operational judgment and ability to make real-time decisions in live environmentsProficiency with ticketing platforms, reporting dashboards, and spreadsheet analysisExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsPreferredExperience in immersive entertainment, museums, or large-scale attractionsFamiliarity with California ticketing, refund, and consumer protection requirementsThis is an on-site leadership role within a live immersive entertainment venue.The position requires schedule flexibility to meet operational demands, including evenings, weekends, holidays, previews, and high-volume periods.
