Location & Telework Relocation Authorized: National - Family. Telework Type: Full-Time Office/Project. Work Locations: Tucson, AZ; Reston, VA; and various other locations throughout the USA. This position is part-time telework per the global telework policy and requires at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project site. Job Summary The Continuous Improvement Supervisor (CIS) reports to the M&T Manager of Quality (MoQ) and leads continuous improvement initiatives across the Manufacturing & Technology Global Business Unit (M&T GBU). The CIS will develop and deliver a custom continuous improvement program, execute risk"‘based strategies, drive data"‘driven performance metrics, and facilitate root"‘cause analysis and training to institutionalize sustainable improvements in efficiency, productivity, and quality. Major Responsibilities Support MoQ in developing and implementing the M&T continuous improvement program and risk"‘based strategy to meet GBU goals. Scope, plan, and select appropriate continuous improvement tools. Analyze and interpret data from processes and metrics across projects and functions. Develop performance metrics to assess effectiveness of improvement initiatives and identify improvement opportunities. Use metrics to drive continuous improvement activities. Develop Quality incident OOM criteria for selecting the appropriate causal analysis tool (e.g., 5 Whys) and facilitate causal analysis activities. Lead root"‘cause analysis and apparent cause evaluations. Develop and facilitate workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies. Provide input into the development of standardized key performance indicators for projects. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the organization. Education and Experience Requirements Recognized Six Sigma Black Belt (certified). Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, behavioral science, construction, science, or related field plus 9 years of related experience, OR 15 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. U.S. Citizen. Must be able to complete a pre"‘employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment and education. Required Knowledge and Skills Experience improving engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and operations work processes. Experience supervising direct reports. Proven ability to achieve measurable continuous improvement results through influence and leadership. Trained in Kaizen and/or Lean methodologies. Trained in facilitation techniques. Trained in causal analysis techniques. Experience applying a structured approach to process analysis and problem solving. Experience establishing, monitoring, and analyzing data and reporting results to MoQ and other management. Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
