OpportunityWe are looking for a Technical Architect within the US Government and Public Sector Technology Hub. In this role you will deliver solution designs and architectures for key initiatives hosted on a cloud"‘hosted government platform, focusing on reuse, scalability, and reliability, aligned with EY's mission and strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical guidance and support to client engagements focusing on complex and innovative products and reusable assets within the context of Azure/Azure Gov Platform services.Create detailed infrastructure and engineering designs that account for the end"‘to"‘end technical solution of a system, in line with business strategy and objectives and within EY's technology environment and Azure/Azure Gov Platform services.Work across multiple projects with varied stakeholders, setting architectural direction, building consensus, mediating conflicts, and providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services and solutions.Monitor progress and quality of the project, reviewing and developing due diligence to confirm the solution complies with architectural design.Required QualificationsThorough understanding of Azure/Azure Gov architecture (Gateways, Firewalls, Containers, ADO, etc.).Experience architecting and designing Microsoft"‘centric solutions using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities based on industry standards.Experience with claims"‘based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, JIT, and/or RBAC/Ping.Experience with data movement and transformation technologies.Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.Ability to adopt new technologies while adhering to EY security and other standards.Good understanding of current cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging trends, and deployment options.Highly skilled in defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including reusable domain"‘specific microservices on multi"‘platform/hybrid clouds (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).Experience with Agile & DevSecOps methodologies.Excellent technical, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.Strong collaboration abilities -
