Why This Role Stands Out: Own and lead electrical & controls scope for capital projects ranging from $1M-$15M Work across a national plant network with strong investment over the next 5 years Operate as both a technical expert and project leader High autonomy + direct impact on plant operations and modernization What You'll Do: Lead end-to-end electrical & controls engineering for capital projects Design and implement power distribution systems (480V / 4160V), MCCs, and control panels Program and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs & HMIs Develop engineering specs, scopes, cost estimates, and project schedules Manage vendors, contractors, and system integrators through commissioning and startup Drive safety excellence (NFPA 70E, arc flash, electrical compliance) Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 5-10+ years in industrial controls + electrical engineering (manufacturing environment required) Strong expertise in: Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI programming Industrial automation & control systems Power distribution (480V / 4160V), MCCs, switchgear Proven experience leading or supporting capital projects ($500K-$15M) Proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable with 50-75% travel across North America What Sets You Apart: You've led plant-level transformations or major system upgrades You can move seamlessly between hands-on troubleshooting and strategic project leadership You thrive in fast-paced, high-investment environments where execution matters AI-Enhanced Matching - Why Apply?
