Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions to support patients functional recovery and independence. You will collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop tailored treatment plans aligned with physician orders and industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes in both outpatient and acute care areas. Key Responsibilities: Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive functions using formal and informal testing measures.Treatment Planning: Develop goal-specific, evidence-based treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance. Prepare and submit treatment plans for physician approval, updating as patient conditions evolve.Intervention Delivery: Implement individualized treatment sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities, exercises, and other interventions to promote functional independence.Patient and Family Education: Educate patients, caregivers, and families regarding diagnoses, prognosis, treatment rationale, and self-management strategies to empower ongoing recovery.Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely records of patient progress, responses to treatment, and changes in condition, adhering to regulatory and organizational policies.Supervision and Collaboration: Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, Aides, and students in accordance with regulatory standards.
