American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with inpatient adult ICU/ED, PICU, and Level III NICU experience for a 12-hour night shift travel assignment at an academic teaching hospital in Vermont.Job Details• Inpatient respiratory care setting within an academic teaching hospital,• Patient populations include adult ICU, Emergency Department (ED), PICU, and Level III NICU,• 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Sunday (no block schedules),• Weekend availability required as needed,• No on-call requirements,• Epic EMR used; recent experience is required,Job Requirements• Current RRT credential required; CRT not accepted,• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience,• Academic teaching hospital experience required,• NICU Level III experience required,• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required,• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required,• Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor (at least one from the past 6 months, one from within the past year) required for consideration,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,• License required if applicable,• Schedule flexibility is a must,Additional Information• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult ICU, ED, PICU, and Level III NICU patient populations,• Travelers must be available to work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day,• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required,• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended,• Candidates holding a Vermont license are accepted, as are candidates with proof of a pending New York license,• NICU level(s) worked must be clearly documented in employment history,• All employment history must include bed count, EMR system, and facility type; gaps of more than 90 days must be explained,• Bi-weekly Monday orientations are held on a rolling basis
